Massage

Hot towels and essential oils may be utilized in all massage types.  If you prefer for these not to be used, please tell your massage therapist or a member of our staff at the beginning of your appointment. 

All massages can be customized by pressure type during the session, but prices may be adjusted to accommodate. 

Therapeutic Massage

This massage type combines the relaxing, long strokes of a Swedish massage with a firmer touch on problem areas to relieve muscle tension and relax the body. Best of both worlds!

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage utilizes deeper pressure focused on troublesome spots in your body. This type of massage is great for chronic pain and tension, and recovery from muscle injuries.

Hot Stone Massage *Latrece Only*

For this kind of massage, the therapist places warmed stones on certain areas of the body, such as acupressure points. The stones may be used as massage tools or be temporarily left in place. Used along with other massage techniques, hot stones can be quite soothing and relaxing as they transmit heat deep into the body.

Only available after 1st trimester! Helps to reduce stress, decrease arm and leg swelling, and relieve muscle and joint pain. Using specially designed massage pillows, the massage therapist will help get you into a comfortable position.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage *Latrece Only*

Light touch is used to manually encourage the drainage of lymph nodes and the movement of lymph fluids in the body.

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient technique, used in many cultures, in which a special cup is applied to the skin and held in place by suction. The suction draws superficial tissue into the cup, which may either be left in place or moved along the body. Cupping brings fresh blood to the area and helps improve circulation.
